Don't Stand Behind me, I'm Detoxing!!

Yes this weekend is the big weekend. I am going on my diet detox and I am going to stop smoking. So please do me a favor and watch the news, and If you see a woman who looks like she lost her mind thats me!!! Seriously, I have to do this for myself. I mean I talk about wanted to get healthy, wanting to drop a few pounds, and stop smoking. But that is all I am doing is talking. So now the talking stops and the actions starts.

Now is the time for me to take action. I'm excited about finally doing what I keep talking about doing. Getting my mind and body right. Getting my life on the right track. Getting my business off the ground. What's funny is once you start taking actions everything just starts coming together. Once you stop wishing and dreaming and start taking those steps to make those wishes and dreams come true, it's a whole new world.

You know we pray to God for things we want and need. "Oh God please let me win the lottery so I don't have to worry about money any more please God!!" But we never buy a lottery ticket! We pray for that perfect man, but then say all men are dogs. What I have learned and I think it is a very important lesson. First, God is not going to give you what you are not ready for. If you want more money, then you have to be able to hand the money you have right now. Second, you will only get what you think you deserve. Postive thinking and action is how we make our dreams come true.

Come saturday morning, I will start my diet detox and no more smoking. I thought starting it on saturday was the best way to go because of the 3 day weekend. If I'm cranky I can be cranky at home. Even more important, If I am gotta let one lose I can do it in the comfort of my own home. LOL!!! And I know that's going to be the case!! So I just want to tell my family sorry in advance. Don't stanad behind me, I'm Detoxing!!!!

Let's Get this Journey started!

Hey there everyone. My name is Sakina. I thought this year would be as good as any to get my mind, spirit, and finical situation in order. Then a light bulb came on in my head (that happens sometimes)and I thought, why don't I share my journey with the whole world. Might be interesting to see where I end up.

So let me tell you about me. Who am I? Good question. I think I know more about me now then I did 5 years ago. Any way, I am Sakina, a woman of a certain age (numbers are not important). I am the mother of Victor (18, Donovan (12), and my sweet little baby girl Olivia (3). I have three of the very best children ever. Yes they drive me nuts, get on my nerves, and make me question if they were switch at the hosiptal. But they are mine now and I love them.

I am engaged to Michael. He is the father of Olivia. We have been together now for 4 years. We have had a rocky relationship off and on. He is a good person and I love him dearly, but there are days when OMG I just want to knock his damn head off. Right now we are getting along and things are good.

For about two years I have been thinking of ways to make money online so I can work from home and be there for my daugther. In doing that I started reading even more then usual. I am a big reader and you will see if you follow me on my journey that I will talk about books that I have read or currently reading. Any who, I started reading book after book about making money, keeping money, saving money, investing money. Money Money Money!!! What I found in reading books like The Secret of a Millionaire Mind, Think and Grow Rich, and anything that Suzie Orman writes (which I so recommend that you read all of this books), it's all about your state of mind. Having money, making money, keeping money it's all about the way you think and feel about money which will determine if you are ever going to have the kind of money you desire. (another word that i have grown to love.)

So here I am, two websites, and I am on my way to to finding the freedom that I think all of us are searching for. I would love to have you join me on this soul searching journey.
